On May 11, 2019 Riccardo Massi will appear as Cavaradossi in Tosca at the Washington National Opera, making his house debut. The production will be conducted by Speranza Scappucci and feature staging by Ethan McSweeny. There will be five further performances running through May 25, 2019. On April 5, 2019 Riccardo Massi will return to the Bavarian State Opera as B.F. Pinkerton in the Wolfe Busse staging of Madama Butterfly, conducted by Daniele Callegari. The cast will also feature Ermonela Jaho in the title role, Annalisa Stroppa as Suzuki and Boris Pinkhasovich as Sharpless, among others. There will be two further performances, on April 7 and 12.
